Low miles CL 500

I am tempted by them as well but not in black, I do not think that the lines of the car are shown well in black.

Appreciate this is pre-facelift but even the facelift models seem to be a lot cheaper recently. Well some of them anyway! Same goes for W220s.

The W215 is probably the 'best' car I've ever driven, and if I was to buy another, I'd definitely go for one with plenty of miles on; a low mileage CL spells pain to me...

Some pedestrian on the other side has recently described the 215 CL as "not a pretty car".

D'oh :fail.

Ooooh, it's local (ish) to you Mike - shall I collect you in the morning?

A rather tenuous AMG link though.

That does seem very low....but agreed nice cars.

I used to have one John - I loved it, but Mrs P was less thrilled. She just didn't get the whole V8 thing.

Not really sure about his comments about 'motoring history' and an 'appreciating asset'

They are sexy looking cars though. If my balls and wallet were bigger I would have one.

I was just going to point out exactly this! A high mileage well maintained example would be a far better bet.
They do not like sitting idle

i have a proper soft spot for these pre facelift CL's. I was nigh tempted on SPX's silver one for sale recently!

They are gorgeous looking cars, but can be troublesome. A bad one can break your heart !
A good one can make you fall in love :D

I'd agree with that.

I know of a guy who had one (2003 model) with less than 8k miles on it.

Nightmare of a car electrically. Mobilo van always seemed to be parked outside.

Ive taken a keen interest in the 215 for some time,

one of the best looking cars i have ever seen!

dont think i could cope with big bills though! just putting fuel in would cause me great pain, let alone a service or some new parts!!!

love the idea and think they are stunning beautiful to look at, but cant justify the running cost

would have to be a facelift CL55 for me

oh and i love them in Black! prices seem to coming down to a more reasonable level now too.

You have to wonder who spends that much on a car and does so few miles!

I love em, but not black or silver.
Still looking.

Nah, that wouldn't do. It's only got an analogue TV......
