Lowering a W202.

Not bad. What model is your car now? Ie: Elegance/Sport etc?

If you're doing it yourself, it ain't easy!! Well I watched as my two "volunteers" had a bit of a mission trying to get the original springs out and the new ones compressed enough to fit in! :D
PS: Not the car pictured below, I mean my previous 202. ;)

for that price i would get H&R springs ordered!

Mine is an Elegance, Do you think i will have a problem with the arches rubbing..? I already have 18" Wheels, on Low profille tyres to..

H&R are of better qaulity and genuine at the same and there a well known brand.

Why not post some pics of your car with its current configuiration

I don't think you'll have rubbing issues, depends on the offset of the wheels, do they sit out flush to the wheel arch or slightly tucked in? I lowered my last Elegance 40mm on Ventura springs on 17's and the rears had a slight camber, no rubbing and was plenty of room really for bigger wheels so you should be ok.

When you lowered the car by 40mm did you also need to change the shocks or was it just the springs? It would be great if you had a photo as well.

Just wondering, once i buy the springs, i then have them fitted. Simple as.. Or do i have to buy new shocks or anything else....?

just springs, and tracking is also advisable!
