Right, so my car came with 2005 SLK 280 rims, they are 16x7 ET34, 5 lugs, 112mm
my rear tires are 225/50/16 and the fronts are 205/55/16
(Well one rim is cracked, so on 1 side in front it came with a 2004 c230 sport rim but its 225/45/17)
So i know for a fact that i can run 225's in the front, and i was thinking when i get new tires going 235 in the back, and 225's in the front (16")
I like how the slk rims look.. i mean if i can afford amg monoblocks i would, but unfortuneatly i can't
so i wan't to lower my car without sacrificing much comfort.. i see many members lowered it with H&R springs.. the only ones i can find are on tirerack, and theres the 1.5 in the front with 1.3 in the rear or 1.3 all around..
For shocks/struts are bilstein sports really stiff? am i better off going with comfort/hd?
and will i have rubbing issues? if i don't roll the fenders even with my current wheel setup? (225/50/16 rear, and 205/55/16 in front) if lowered with H&R/bilstein?
