M113k pulley?

Hi all I indentified the aux belt idler pulley to be noisy. ( screaming when checking with stethoscope ) I also noticed the supercharger idler belt has play in it. Was thinking to order both genuine mb ones. How much are they?? Any ideas or alternatives. Thanks.

Get a price from your dealership firstly, so you can know if alternatives are in fact cheaper. Many parts on eBay these days can often be more expensive.

Indeed that’s what I thought too. Don’t mind spending more knowing the bits are spot on.

Worth trying MSL also if long dealer waiting times

Is it the dual pulley that's noisy? Two pulleys on one shaft. I had this problem with my CLS55.
IIRC dealer price for pulley was over £400. I bought one from my local motor factors for under £200 plus Gates belts for supercharger (poly v) and ancillaries. Belts were less than £30 each. Remember MB don't make belts or pulleys.
My pulley failed completely at under 77000 miles. So much for superior MB quality.

I replaced the double pulley with a febi one about a month ago. Half price of dealer one. I have got the charger tensioner new from mb together with aux belt pulley. Need torque specs please if anyone can assist. Thanks.
