Question for those who have changed their S/C pulleys, the gap between the clutch ranges from .35mm ( within MB spec) and around 0.80mm. This feels way too much but I have read that a lot of aftermarket pulleys are like this?

I'm assuming it's down to poor manufacturing. This is a recent purchase from a well-known MB tuner, who so far is ignoring my messages on this topic.

post some pics, have you tried ringing the tuner in question, I know there are a few big shows abroad so they might be out the country

Thanks for the reply, two opposites of the pulley and wildly different spacing:

I had to tap the pulley on with a rubber mallet but I'd be very surprised if they were that fragile enough to warp so easily. The tuner is overseas ( east of EU).

Yes, we have had this before with poor quality pulleys.
Thanks, this is really helpful to know, even if not ideal for my situation. Is there any adjustment possible with these pulleys to correct this?

No, unfortunately they aren't mounted properly when being machined. Make noise and get it sent back.
