Do you recon doing just the forged rods, keeping alusil walls and stock pistons is wise for a reliable stock turbo stage 2 m157?

I'm trying to understand which is the weakest link at such application, the alusil coating or the weak rods when facing the torque.

is it bent rods >>> scored walls
or is it possible to have scored walls with perfectly straight rods just due to heat and wear and tear?

I know there are far more knowledgeable people on the platform, so I would like to hear your take If doing forged drop in rods is a wise idea.

From what i understand bent rods is the main issue which causes the wall scoring, but want to hear your takes and experience.

Thanks!

The M157 is a gentleman's hotrod, good for the Autobarn, it's nimble, it's agile, it's fuel efficient with direct fuel injectors and 2 stage oil pump, its very fast.

Rods could bend under extreme abusive boost conditions, 1000NM plus is a lot of torque that's easily achievesble by MaxPower.

From watching tasos it seems almost inevitable.

I'm just wondering if doing just the drop in rods would be enough safety net for non aggressive stage2, stock turbo, stock fueling with some cooling mods.
Or is it wise to do sleeving too as alusil will just scratch overtime even if rods are perfectly fine?

Tasos says it(just forged drop in rods stock block and pistons) should be fine until 800 ish hp and 1000-1100 nm.

I guess I want to hear more opinions on alusil and how much of a concern is it just by itself.
