Hi, I have a few failed coils on my right side (cylinders 1-6) cl600 and have been quoted near €2500 for a new one off MB here in Ireland.
I have seen a few companies reconditioning them but some have mixed reviews, also I have seen some Chinese copies.
Can anyone share some light on any experiences they have with their ignition coils and what route they took as I know these are a common failure.
Just finding it difficult to fork out €2500.
I have purchased 2 second hand ones online and both times when delivered the end coil was broke due to not being packaged right and had to be returned.
