I've only been a new member for a few days but I've found the site very helpful and reassuring. I'm in the process of trading-in my 1994 W202, C220 Petrol manual - it's breaking my heart to say goodbye to it - and purchasing soon a C270 CDI (facelift) Elegance SE.
Of course, I'd have liked to have bought a W204 but money's tight.
Barring any undetected serious problems with the Box or Motor I'm looking forward to giving my left foot a rest and experiencing a diesel engine which seems to have a good repoutation.
M-B's aint bomb-proof, of course, so I'll be back here chatting about problems and hopefuly contributing to some constructive discussion.
