Hi Guys
I have been popping in and out of the MBclub forum for quite some time now picking up useful info since I bought my 2005 W211 e class 220CDI auto last year. it been great until now. The service history is a bit sketchy no MB service history booklet, but plenty of MB specialist independent garages receipts.
I think I have a few issues which I'm sure someone can help me with,
when starting the glow light comes on then off as normal , I then start the car and the glow light comes back on for a few minutes then goes off I think it may be a bad glow plug? any ideas
Then over the last few weeks the car as been juddering through the gearbox I get to 40mph and it then it seems to shift up quickly then goes back down it seems worse when it get warmed up but, I can use the tiptronic and it changes fine.I thought as its done 120k and there is no receipt for a ATF transmission fliud change so I would do that, along with valve body conductor plate and bushing connector while the transmission pan was down.
Then today I got the error code P0299 ,checked with the OBD and Turbo Charger supercharger under boost came back after looking on the forum it points to a split pipe but which one would you go for first
looking forward to your replies
cheers
