MB Birmingham dealers

Need an A service on my newly acquired C55 - will be using MB main dealer to preserve the MB history. Which is the best one in the Birmingham area?? MB Central Birmingham I think are owned by MB UK, and Solihull and Tamworth appear to be part of the same group, Solihull having an AMG performance centre. Anyone got any feedback on any of these dealers? AMG service appears to be a fixed price at £379 - a lot for an oil change?!

Yep, MB Birmingham comprises Central, Solihull and Tamworth. Very expensive, and you speak to someone in a call centre when you phone - shared with London and Manchester.

Unless you really need the convenience, try one of the franchised dealers in the surrounding area - better service, and cheaper IMHO. When I say cheaper, I mean 47% cheaper!!

Thanks Bobbydazzler - just checked and MB Walsall charge £258 inclusive to do the A service for an AMG C class...

The first dealer mentioned below is one of the MB Birmingham dealers. The second dealer mention is from a nearby franchised dealer. These are for B-services for my C32. Of course the C55 has a couple of extra cylinders but that only makes a difference when it's spark plug change time.

Most expensive (an MBUK owned MB main dealer): £980
B-Service: £495
Fuel & air filters: £310
Brake fluid: £175

My usual (franchised MB main dealer): £459
B-Service: £280
Fuel & air filters: £127
Brake fluid: £52​

If you can stretch to wolverhampton suggest using drayton.
I personally use the Stafford branchand am very satisfied.

Car booked into Drayton Wolverhampton for this Sat. Very good price negotiated and I'll be taking my own oil. Will report back on the experience
