MB Centre caps

Hi gang,
I noticed today that the finish on my centre caps has peeled in a couple of places on my centre caps. Having a snoop around I saw these.

Do you think the price is right or are these too cheap/expensive. They are a main dealer but wondered if I walk into my local one would they be the same..?

My guess might be that there either cheaper or about the same at the local dealers, worth asking them first before you buy on ebay

If you're looking for a 'delivered' option I'm sure they'd be slightly cheaper than eBay?

That's an excellent price, I always thought they were ~ £5 each!

It seems to be showing 2 or 3 different part numbers (and prices!) for the those caps, although the silver background looks a shade different in some images.

In fact, following on from this - does anyone have the part number for the black/silver 'laurel wreath' centre caps?

Like these, but in black instead of blue

Hi Will,

Have looked at these a bit more and it seems there are two types for the centre caps. Standard allot looking colour and the same but with a chrome star on them. It's the later that are £5 each.

The black ones are no longer available from MB. There are two private sources for them: a grossly overpriced one in the USA and a reasonably priced one in Europe via glibusic[usual symbol]tiscali.de (his English is weak).

Which part numbers have you checked with them? Do we know which model these centrecaps were originally fitted to?

The Black ones are B66470201 as fitted to my AMG Styling III's. I sourced mine through Ebay, they came from Singapore - Genuine MB!

Try ordering them from your dealer, I've provided the part no to others and they did show up on the Inchcape site.
