I asked about a warranty repair when I had my car in for a routine service in June. Since then I've 'phoned, called at the dealership, emailed and written to them but a response has been notable only because of its absence.

I've now sent an email to customer care at Milton Keynes. Is this likely to receive any more attention or can I expect a similar disregard for their customer?
 
I would be shocked if you don't hear from them within 48 hours. If not give them a call, noting with whom you're talking.
