Is MB customer service improving?

I recently had a letter from Hughes of Aylsebury reminding me that a service is due soon, and to check my assyst reading, which I do regularly.

Also MB Herts, have sent me a free accident assistance package, which if you are invloved in a none fault accident will help get your car to an MB improved repairer, supply a like for like car and assist with the insurance company and all for Free.

Have any other networks started this type of service?

I get it form mine along with occasional courtesy phone calls and post service phone calls checking I was happy with how things went etc. N Yorks MB claim to be very hot on Customer Service and by and large I have been pleased. Have had a couple of incidents where Mrs Angry has had to come out, they now now that when I simply say I am very unhappy and /or seething without shouting or getting visibly angry (which I was recently) then they know they need to jump! - but generally they are good.

Alot of Stealers send out reminders/garbage annually reminding customers (that they have on their database) that their vehicle is due for a service when it normaly is not and to do i.e. winter check "rubbish" inspections at a "reduced cost"

The "Accident Pack" that the Stealer has sent you is for their "profit" in the long run. Should you be involved in an accident then the Stealership will make a commission/profit by handling your claim and claiming of the insurer for repairs/hire car etc.!!! ;)

After all they are still STEALERS...

These services are widely available and insurance companies hate them, as they bump up the cost of the claim.
Also you need to be really careful that the accident is not your fault (rarely is it cut and dried), and that the other guy is properly covered. You could end up paying the hire cost yourself if it's not recoverable.

If you intend keeping your mobilio cover then you HAVE TO get the repair carried out by an authorised Mercedes-Benz agent. Please, please undrstand this is not a debate on mobilio.

A good Mercedes-Benz dealer will make all the arrangements no matter whose fault it is, indifferent or bad ones might not.

You have insurance and that is all that the dealership need to get everything arranged. (If they are in the first bracket :) )
