MB new boy

Thought I'd start off with a 53 E500 as my first foray into MB ownership, been an Audi man up to now. Loving the ride, nice to be able to switch between comfort and sport (Audi only did sport with a vengeance). The noise of the engine through the Sebring exhausts at start up is something else!!

Thanks all, not had much chance to drive her yet and I'm still trying to understand all of the toys, particularly the Comand APS system.

I need to get a few pieces of interior trim to smarten her up inside; inner door sill, trim around the glove box lock, mirror cover for the passenger sun shade and a new door for the storage locker under the drivers seat. Where's the best place to buy these sort of things?

Now sorted out all of the little bits of trim that needed doing and I'm gradually getting my head around the Comand system.
Mpg is pretty horrible at less than 20 but given I only use it at weekend I don't really care.
I discovered another half inch of travel on the loud pedal yesterday when I joined the M3 that put a real smile on my face!
Just need to get the Kompressor badges removed from the front wings (?!) and she's all sorted. Then I can focus on getting a proper iPod connection and a phone set up that doesn't look like something out of Ashes to Ashes!
