Was getting the alignment done yesterday and and one side of the vehicle is lower than the other. Any idea what could cause this? It did make me think if non genuine parts are a contributing factor? All parts I buy are lemforder.

Have the shocks or springs been worked on ? Is it lower front and back .

New shocks and springs. Shocks = sachs and springs = oem mb

Who fitted them ? And did they set the metal retainer clip to the same slot as what was fitted on the shocks previously . ?
I fitted them and maintained the clip setting. However, someone had been there before and replaced the spring with a cheap sh@t aftermarket spring. Maybe the setting was messed up at that point. Although visually both struts seemed to check out in terms of height

Yes all four sides were replaced with sachs struts and mb springs

Are we saying the rear is low/high or one of the sides is low/high if so by how much

10mm lower on the driver side. Both front and back.

Sounds like you have the front springs on driver side and rear springs on passengers side if that is even possible ? 😱

Just a thought, are you 100%, years ago it was possible.
Pretty sure because they were changed at different times and there is a massive visual difference between the two types

Tyre pressure's ? Odd size wheels ?, grasping at straws now. 🥺

Having done both myself , I can concur .

All i can now suggest is get the wheels off drivers side and check for a broken spring. One spring will effect the whole cars stance.

On my w211 there is no adjustment on rears but the front can be adjusted using the snapring, I'm assuming the op has a similar set up. So even if front was not adjusted correctly both rears should be equal if fitted correctly. A bit of a mystery. Maybe the springs are incorrect.

Correct . W219 share the w211 chassis's.
