Only cars registered before this date will escape the rises, so if you're expecting to take delivery of a new car after April 1, your dealer could ask for more cash....

I suppose a 1.4% price rise is not the end of the World and I note they state:

The CL coupe is unaffected, as is the E-Class, a face-lifted version of which will be unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show at the end of February.

I guess that explains the deals that are available on the current E Class - you can even combine some of the deals together, which is generally a no no, so they must be pretty desperate to move them.

Just had a look at the R class pricing and the best option on the R class is not available on the diesel

How can you have an R class without the panoramic sunroof?
