I have to be honest, I don't like either of them :/

Problem is VB 3 doesn't have the best set of themes out there either (If your going for off the shelf). The only one I've ever seen for version 3 I liked was this one:vBulletin Skins Demo - Powered by vBulletin

It's not free though unfortunately (Buy : VBStyles - Premium vBulletin Skins & Themes)

New, but could not really tell the difference, am I missing something ?

New. Because it's default.

A nice black/grey style would work well with the banner.

I'm wondering if we shouldnt also have a skin that blends better with the new black banner. The contrast between the two is very striking at the moment. Perhaps the upper areas could be darkened or something?

I think we need the option of a 'work friendly' (i.e. discreet) style!
