No need for anyone to feel bad. It just needs to have a bit more planning next time.
There needs to be some purpose to it, or a theme, to give some focus. For example, lunch at a good pub, or perhaps try to centre it on something MB-related. There's a good MB specialist in MK - Autoclass - who might be interested in hosting or supporting something, perhaps as an opportunity to increase their client list by offering a free safety check or some diagnostics.
Autoclass is easy to find from the M1 and A5 as they are located on the A422 Buckingham to Newport Pagnell road. If you know MK, they are on the H3 Monks Way between V6 and V7.
There is also a karting centre - Daytona Motorsport - on the H4 Dansteed Way. That might provide a good focus for a meet, even if Club members didn't want to participate. It is also easy to find from the M1 and A5.
