Try

Why did Mercman move to Cornwall? Is it the same people or did they sell it?

I went into mercman last year for an electrical part and he gave me the cornish number saying that side of the business had moved there.

Rob Parker @ Three Pointed Parts maybe able to help. I have bought a few things from them.

There are lots of them

Mercman as above .

There is Boss Parts in Leeds ,

3 Pointed Parts ( Rob Parker on here )

Dave Collins in Yorkshire ( retrodave111 on here )

and SLPagoda.com

The last two specialise in classic models but also break newer stuff .

I would hesitate to recommend another operation in the North of England in light of many complaints their reputation is 'dross' .

Hills of Ormskirk have a good rep.

The Garage in Bacup (on a good day can be helpful, depending on who answers the phone.

This is whom I have used in the past and I've no copmplaints at all >>>>

They go by "Mercland" or "Morgana" and I find them trustworthy and give you a good deal.

I've had: wiper motor, back light cluster and an Air Mass Meter - all for a W202 and all in good nick.
