They're obviously trying to shift the last current models as they have text me 17 times so far offering me 3 grand off.

a) stop texting me! If I was abroad and paying to receive text's you'd be getting a bill..

b) would need to be more than that off! Double it and then we're talking...

Anyone else got numerous texts?

TFI Friday.

Some cracking contract hire deals about again too.

£885 deposit then 35 x £295+vat for a c220cdi auto estate doing 20k miles a year.
just waiting to hear if they have a sport available with comand and see what that is.

C180k auto estate is £224 a month doing 10k miles, great for someone who only does that mileage.

The C220cdi deal is good for the miles.

I'd rather have it on a PCP where the option to buy it is there if you want

Never going to happen at that price though, Mercedes basically get the lease companies to lease them with a small commission, maybe £30 a month? something like that and then sell them at the end.

The C180k auto estate probably costs Mercedes UK around £21k (£27925 list, with vat recovered it is only £23600 so £2500 profit).

If they rent it out for £200 a month with the broker taking £35 a month that is £7200 over the 36 month period meaning the car now owes them £14200.
They will stick that back into Mercedes direct at £16000.

It clears their stock of 'old models' quickly without showing any reductions or silly contract hire deals that will annoy customers who have just bought and gives them a chance to make some money in 3 years time.
