Mercedes C200 Classic - Mono Wiper failure

Hello, my first post , i have V reg C200 and it has a couple of issues . One being the monowiper system which work well and sweeps the full length of the windshield but has started parking 2/3 inches too high , any advice would be a big help,

Dec i have watched your video , and its realy good information , and good help to maintain this wiper system.Can i ask if this is the same with the metal type covers fitted on my 260e 1989 .Can you remove them easy .I have seen post that say it is a strip down to get inside them.Or do you know a way to lubricate them when on the car. Thank you .

The advice is to take the thing apart and do it properly, however, if it were me doing the job, I would drill a hole at the neck, block the 4 drain holes and then flood the thing with spray grease then unblock the 4 drain holes.

It could be very messy when the wiper is turned on, what with the thing full of grease, I have never heard of any one actually doing it like this but that’s what I would do.
