Mercedes CL65 First Drive

You mean, CL63 ;)

Nice link though shaun :)

Cheers

Will

A great looking car with huge presence, but........

WHY, WHY why on earth does it have a DVD based navigation system when the latest S-class has already got the next generation hard-drive based technology?

I am no fan of the CLS, but this design has everything lacking in the smaller model. Okay this is the top of the range CL, but I like the design\shape. Top vehicle, thanks for the link.

Regards,
John

Not keen on the interior, but that is one seriously nice exterior

Just need to go looking down the back of the sofa now for that spare £105k.....

Nice link.

Just found 5 down the back of the settee, which you can put towards it if you like mate. Sadly,"p" not "k". :D

That looks bloody gorgeous..............got a feeling theres gonna be alot of demand for that car

Wowee monster. Absolutely menacing. Beautifully worded test as well. "Equanimity" - think I'll frame that one. The best car Mercedes has ever built. 8 washer jets. That is a lot of washer jets.

I'm sure i read somewhere that AMG have programmed a random out of sequence firing into the overrun , so that you get the popping of a high performance car .....

The front end kinda looks like a rounded off W126 SEC

I think the AMG version is nicer than the Brabus (never normally the case)

It doesn't. The article is wrong.

:D Are you talking about the eight windscreen washers? :D

No John ,

About the engine ........ ;)

What does a "1965 260SEC" look like? (p2)
I doubt the good Ben Whitworth has even seen a CL63 - far less driven it.
Sloppy cribbed journalism...
