Mercedes key fob broke...

Well... Cut a long story short key has been dropped and this popped out.

Can it be repaired? Car opens and closes but nothing else.

Is that the coil that is energised by the EIS ?

Malcolm on the other side is pretty good with micro electronics and has fixed a tiny transmitter for me before.

Might be worth asking .

Have you got a contact for him? It is a small coil with two tiny contact points either side.
