Anyone familiar with these M117 camshafts, cast GTS55?

What'd you find out about them? I have the same stamps on my euro 117.961.
 
And on the 117.983. Aren't they casting/part nos? The camshafts were changed several times depending on how they tinkered with the valve lift etc.
