Mercedes Me...is it just me?

Ah - sorry. I think you may have to go through the official route, but comandonline.co.uk are a forum sponsor and may be able to provide a cost effective solution.

Imho carplay is good, but not as good as the Mercedes offerings, although the ability to use waze and google maps is useful.
I believe that Car Play / Android is part of the Premium Pack on the Cabriolet so you should have it. To access Car Play all you do is connect the phone using the usb cable (it doesn’t work using Bluetooth) and then go to the Home screen - in the E Class Home screen Car Play appears as an option right at the top. I don’t use Maps as Comand is much better, Tidal is great and I use Waze in the background for camera warnings. You can have the Comand Sat Nav on but scroll through Tidal or Podcasts / Audiobooks in the other screen. I think the set up is faultless - not a thing you can normally say about MB infotainment.

What version of COMAND do you have?

If you car is a facelift W204 (2011-2014 for the saloon, 2011-2015 for the coupe), and it is equipped with Audio20, then it will most likely have the optional Becker Map Pilot navigation system that resides in the glove compartment. With this setup, importing destinations online is not possible. This is also true for the Navigation 20 system. On these cars, importing destinations online (aka sending a destination to the car) is only possible with COMAND Online NTG4.5/4.7.

If your car is a W205 (2014 onwards for the saloon, 2016 onwards for the coupe), then your Audio 20 system will have the optional Garmin Map Pilot navigation system that resides on an SD-Card. I do not know if Garmin Map Pilot supports importing destinations online - someone else might be able to help.

Wow thanks.
My vehicle is the W205 with Garmin on a SD card.
I would love if someone could tell me if this is possible.
The Download POI is the only way I can see how to do it but it takes forever to do and seems silly.
Anyone know the answer?
