Today i see a year old C class with chrome hubcap spinners
what was the owner thinking of it looked cr#p anyone else seen any ways to give mercedes a bad image.

As I was exiting the car park this evening , a dark blue W210 saloon went by . It was the rustiest one i have EVER seen ! The entire passenger side (which was all i saw) was pock marked with rusty bits wings , doors , sills ; paint flaking off all over . If that was mine , I'd want to take it out the back and shoot it , then bury it decently . What a disgrace to its owner !

As w202's become cheaper and cheaper the Barry virus infects more and more of them.

3 years time the w203 will start with the same fate, some claim this is worse than rust. :)

In my opinion I think the W202 is safer from the Barrys than the 3 series Beemer is.

Oh yeah it is by far, but 3series are alot cheaper as the E36(?) came out 1st on an 'H' Reg - w202 'L' Reg

surely this is too,

Anybody prepared to climb out of the driver's window at that speed definitely gives the marque a bad name!

you should be ashamed ;)

Yep!, usually me at the wheel is sufficient :o.

Oh, and I very nearly fitted a whale tail type rear wing to my previous C Class Coupe but others here talked me out of it just in time.

Portzy

I think it all irrelevant. If the owner of an Mb wants to do something to his car he is perfectly entitled to do it. Its not our money that is being used so why should we critisize. My 260E needs taking behind a shed and shot, but know what, I dont care what others think. For me its a work car, rebuild is on the cards yes. But its a case of when I can get round to it.

Guess I had better put on a flame proof set of overalls.

I've seen an N reg E200 around and about near where I work. It's white and the owner put red crosses on the wing mirrors and on the boot during the world cup.

Now the cup is over he's peeled the red off and left unsightly lines where he has pulled the laquer off with the red strips. One day last week he had actually parked his car on the road in front of mine. I have to say I felt a little embarrased as to the untrained eye the cars look almost identical (albeit mine was washed at too high a temperature)!
