Hi All,

I need to have a B1 service carried out in less than 40 days on my Mercedes e250 sport CDi 2011. I wnated to ask what would be the cheapest place be aroung essex Independent or main dealer. I have been quotes prices from £440 in Loughton to £520 in Birmingham. They have also suggested that if I keep the car for 4 years they can offer me fixed serviceing for 48 per month for £36 per month the next 4 years. Not sure what is the best option or best dealers.

I am having my B-Service at MB Stratford, as I took out the Service Care from MB to fix the costs. They have a fixed rate service cost of aroudn 399 incl. VAT but £50 off if you drop off and pick up. Basically you could take the time to go shopping at Westfield or take the tube/DLR which isn't far away from the Dealership. Else there are some Indy's on here like PCS from Watford, who offer PickUp and DropOff for a good rate.

Sorry to jump in on this thread but I am a new member and don't know how to post a new thread,i need a service on my c220 in Swansea other than a Merc dealer,any ideas

I had 36 month plan for old eclass MOT included in mine and break fluid changed at 2 years all for 31 per month I do 7-8k per year but some short journeys so computer flags up annual service
I haven't found much difference between what I can negotiate with dealer versus indie just depends if they are any good that seems very variable in this area good indies and main dealer have chosen to stay with dealer it's a personal choice looking at my service bills ( I get a copy) the invoice value higher than what I'm paying on the maintenance plan

Thanks guy took you advice and went with the service plan for 4 services over 3 years since I plan on keeping the car for 3 years at a cost of £40 per month. Seems cheaper than servicing cost annually and I get a courtesy car at the time of service plus they would carry out any extra work free of labour only parts seems a good deal.
