Mint C32 For Sale!

Isn't it Tier 2 if it has covered over 60k?, or did they take out 2 years given it runs to nov 2010????

I spotted that too. I would say it's either Tier 2 or there's less than 12 months left of the Tier 1.

Looks like it's had a replacement seat base cover before too.

Nice car.

just thought i would show it as after having a look at a couple of views on here some people have no idea of a good example of a c32 AMG, so thought i would show the kind i would call decent mainly not being awful cheap silver!!

I'd better prepare myself for an additional hit of depreciation.

I think it's fair to say that silver is common for MBs generally - especially AMGs - and black is up there too.

To be different on an AMG you really need to be opting for not silver and not black - green, blue, etc. The red C32 AMG that did the rounds looks stunning, albeit different, and will have a smaller market than a more popular colour.

Silver is probably popular for AMGs partly because it's the MB colour (ie no paint on racers), partly because it's used in the AMG brochures, and partly because it's the colour that shows the extra definition on the AMG body kit most clearly. It's far easier to spot the AMG kit on a silver car than another colour for this reason.

Bobby - cheap and common huh...:D You really are going to have to clean those wheels now...:D:D

Silver also is much easier to keep clean.

Too be honest come sale time more people buying a Merc will stick to the safe bet of Silver rather than a so called rare colour....

Saying that there was a C55 for sale in bright red and was for sale quite some time for aorund £13K, I liked it but not sure other people did...

Its a good job we are all different.

You see that's where my specially modified and colour enhanced 'dark' alloys come in. None of those common silver wheels you see on clean cars. :D

I saw that C55 AMG...on a 54 plate the other day in S.E. London...Very nice!

MB Tier 1 warranty is available for vehicles which haven't covered more than 100k miles when the cover is started, so this car can be covered.

Is this a recent change?

Earlier this year it was still the case that:

Tier 1 was up to 60,000 miles at start of cover
Tier 2 was up to 100,000 miles at start of cover

That's superb if you can take out Tier 1 up to 100,000 miles. Tier 1 cover is very very comprehensive (same as used car, and better than new car in the sense that you also have MOT cover included).

Any idea how much the Tier 1 or 2 cover costs for a C32?
