HI all
Just had a misfire going up a hill quite slowly, only just made it to the top,so after a few nasty words and some blue air i decided to lift the bonnet and have looksee, nothing hit me in the face so i thought i would have a lok at dist'b cap which was very dirty and only two years old so i cleaned it and all was well and went home. This morning i went to work and everything was ok until i restarted the car and it was misfiring again. I bought a new set of leads and a dist'b cap and fitted them and at the moment all is well again, i am now rather apprehensive as to what will happen when i start it in the morning, has anyone else had this sort of problem, thanks Rob

I had this same problem, juddering and lurching while pulling away etc.

New dizzy cap, new leads, problem solved !! :D

I shouldn't worry, by the way has it been damp, or raining in your neck of the woods because mine was worse when the air was damp.

If you've fitted new leads and cap, you should be cool now !!

cheers

H

Hi Howard, yep it has been raining ( lightly) all day but not yesterday, glad you cleared yours up.
