Missing service history

some time ago I was advised on service history that's missing on my E230.
Sent an email to MB and just recieved a response as follows:

Thank you for your e-mail.

To enable us to provide you with the service history, we need you to provide us with proof of ownership. This is a faxed copy of the V5 document and driving licence of the registered keeper which must match or, if it is registered to a company, the V5 document and the request written on company headed note paper with a copy of the purchase invoice.

If you can fax this information to 0207 975 7074 and include your name and the case reference number (...........)[edited] then we will be happy to provide you with the service history.

Regarding your request for a service book, you will need to contact your local Mercedes-Benz dealership where you will be able to purchase a new one.
