ml 270cdi more faults!!!

hi i was wondering if anyone has had this problem before when i start my ML the glow plug light goes straight out and then comes back on for a few minutes, no performance problems but it has just started doing this ? appriciate any ideas ta

I believe it means you have a faulty glowplug.

thanks are they something that can be checked ,ie put a 12v supply to them and see if they glow or is it more complicated than that

Just meter with a multimeter first.

You must take the wire off each one, otherwise you will not get a correct reading

They should go back to the relay connector seperately, that is where to meter them from.

many thanks for your advice guys ,found 1 glow plug open circuit, replaced at just over 8 quid from german and swedish job done!! please behave now ML :bannana: :bannana:
