Hi,
I have had this intermittent problem for 2 years, and have been to the main dealer countless times. They have now given up and claim not to know what the fault is. I am desperate, please can anyone out there help.

It's an intermittent issue, whereby the car sometimes struggles to change UP into a higher gear, and the engine over-revs. This can happen at any speed and in any gear and if the engine is hot or cold. Often, using the paddles, I can shift into the higher gear, but not always. There is little top-end power and it struggles to reach 70mph on the motorway. When slowing down, the gears change DOWN okay. Once the fault occurs, it stays on the car for the rest of the day.

The car seems to vibrate, which at first I thought was wheel balancing, though have had this checked and the tyres are fine.

I can’t always select between ‘Eco/Sport/Manual’ using the console button.

I have just collected it from dealer after they had it for 3 weeks and the car drove great for 30 mins, then the fault came back, The dealer has replaced something called an inlet manifold twice, which hasn't solved anything.

If it was something like the Torque Converter (hail Google!), I'm sure they would have seen this ...... wouldn't they?

Apologies for the less than technical explanation, I'm not the sharpest knife in the drawer.

Thanks in advance for any support or guidance.
Bertie
