Hi all,
I've just purchased an 02 plate ML270CDI.
It's got 130k on the clock and the last service stamp from a MB dealer was at 118k. Its had some, unspecified servicing since then but no paperwork, just the owner's say-so.
I plan to book it in with a local MB savvy mechanic, but being new to MB and 4 x 4's in general, can anyone give me a list of things that should be checked over in the service? For instance how often should the gearbox oil be changed, are there bearings that need lubing, any other boxes which need oil or lube?
It seems sound, no leaks, only things wrong are the worn tyres and a slightly wobbly accelerator pedal. And the price was right
Thanks
Simon
