ML270 Cruise Control

Recently purchased 2003 ML270 CDI

Could anyone enlighten me on how to engage the Cruise Control

My first reaction is that it is not functioning

Any help would be welcome

Driven a lot in US and have always been able to suss cruise control

By pushing the cc stalk up at the desired speed, your car will then engage the cc.

Be aware also, that on the ML w163 range, when cruise is engaged there is no warning light or indication whatsoever on the instrument panel to tell you so.

A common cause of cc not working is a defective brake light switch........ there was a recent recall on w163's, all years, to replace the brake light switch foc..... might be worth giving your local mb dealer your chassis number to check if yours was recalled.
