Reading back - just to be clear, the only one I can see that was a bit rude was Smiley's - unless of course there were others that have been removed?

I totally agree with the above there is not a rude post on this thread, I think sometimes people just don't like to hear the truth. If anyone thinks any post on this thread is rude then all I can say is they must have led a very sheltered life

I appreciate the saying that 'irony is the lowest form of wit', but your answer is even rude. So if anyone disagrees with you they've lived a sheltered life. And starting an answer with " I assume this is a joke" is not rude in your book.

Here's what I think, I think sometimes people don't realise that other people can also be aggressive, short and post condescending answers. They just aren't and don't as they're civilised, supportive and friendly- oh yes they've probably lived a sheltered life too!

"I assume this is a joke " is not rude at all, if it started "I assume this is a joke t*sser" then yes that is rude.

The point here is how different people intepret the wriiten word, posts on this forum, e mail can all be read and interpreted different ways, some may find them rude, agressive, offensive, others may find them jocular, funny, sarcastic.

Thers also nothing rude in your post IMHO, just expressing your opinion which is what freedom of speech and the forum is all about.
