Motorway Variable speed Limit Signs. How much over can you do?

Neither can I explain why it is acceptable to travel 10mph faster on a European motorway at 130kph [80.78mph].

Of course you can be on a motorway in Europe and the limit changes as you cross the line between one country and the next. It's the same road, with the same traffic on it ... but suddenly you need to slow down by 10 kph to avoid being a danger to society?!

We are , but the guidelines are the same , so if there’s an unmarked car ( like the little black Corsa or Skoda Fabia , neither of which you’d give a second glance to , which operate around Glasgow ) then be aware .

Spotted some "blue" plain black Seat Ibizas on the M20 about 10 years ago. Would never have given them a second look normally.
