ms office 2010 pro £8.95

hi, i have the opportunity to download a licensed copy of ms office 2010 pro, thru the home user programme [ HUP ] re my employers. i have visited the link they provided and it is a download - £8.95 [ retails at £349 ] with an option of a back up dvd at £10.95.
thing is i already have office 2003 on this computer, what i want to ask is if i downloaded it onto this computer would the download be restricted to this computer, because ideally i would want to keep it for a new computer i will probably buy within the next couple of years. thanks

It's unlikely to be restricted to just your computer, you could download it and back it up onto a DVD. If I were you, I would pay the extra £2 and get the backup DVD they offer.

However, and this is the important bit. Under the licence terms of your HUP once you leave employment from your current employer you are not legally entitled to continue using the software bought under the scheme. You are supposed to uninstall it. Your employers will most likely ask you to sign a waiver to this effect.
