I have a 1990 190e Manual 2.0. What a lovely car have had it twelve years. Fitted 4 new coil springs as the old ones started breaking at 90K. One water pump at 60k. odometer failed got second hand clocks £15. Then cable failed 10 miles later. Fitted new cable yesterday £15. Had to cut of outer rubber sheaf of cable to ease access through engine bay to dash using electrical draw rods to pull cable through. Left cable in bucket of oil for a week before fitting. This is great as it leaves plenty of spare cable slack when you slip clocks out. By the way your dont need to remove the steering wheel to remove clocks. It takes about 8 minutes to remove. Refitted rubber sheaf to speedo cable under car for protection and used cable ties to hold sheaf together. Only other problem with car is I have some air in clutch system. Clutch works if you operate it normally but if you hold pedal slightly down it draws pedal to the floor due to vacume. Have tied reverse bleeding, pressure bleeding upside down bleeding but cant clear air. Might have to strip master and slave and have a good look over. One other thing I have noticed that vacume gauge does not work on dash anymore suspect I have pulled a tube of inside the dash when removing old duff speedo cable. Otherwise nice car.
Also had a gas 190 auto fitted with Tartarini gas system 50mpg great.
