Well old habits die hard I guess, have gone back to a Merc!
Picked up this immaculate example this week, 2005, 83,000kms, Alabaster White with black leather interior, high spec with pretty much every option available.
I have already dropped by Mr. Muffler and had the secondary cats and resonator removed - quiet idle, no drone at cruise, but sounds evil at WOT.
The N/A M113 5.4 is a pretty sweet motor - oodles of low down torque, and being a fairly light car has good top end as well.
Plans:
Quaife LSD (shame on AMG for not doing at factory)
H&R 10mm spacers front and rear to make it a tiny bit more aggressive
Eurocharged shorty headers
ECU Tune (unsure of which vendor yet)
K&N Filters
Replace Jap COMAND unit with Dynavin N6-MBC Nav/Phone unit
Replace Jap plate holders with Euro size
Euro Plates
Refurb Wheels
