Here she is, my new project car.
Have got big plans for this, some of which you'll see in new threads soon enough when i ask peoples opinions.
Here it is in its current state:

Looks a mess i know, but all rust is going to be sorted and the whole car resprayed.
This was my dads car and he rebuilt the engine about a year ago and its running damn smooth though and is rapid, gotta love that 3.0l kickback and the sound of the engine :D

First Update:

Bi-Xenon headlights installed, took about 30 mins, not bad! Look fantastic too. Will have pics up tomorrow. Went for an ice white 6000K.

Turbo Technics kit bought from Hughes of Beaconsfield, couldnt say no when i realised the price even though i wasnt going to do it when i got this car.
Oh well, plans change!

Wheels in transit, went for a set of BBS RS 077 3-piece split rims.
8J fronts and 10J rears. I know the rears will not fit but i have a plan :D
To those who have said it will mess up the cars handling etc. i thought about it and to be honest its a straight line car, not a cornering one anyway so i thought what the hell!

Will get pics up asap!

Update:

Heres some unclear pics of the xenons at night.
Excuse the crappy camera phone pic, but you get the idea.
Nice pure white light!

Everyday i walk past this car i like it more and more each time.
I think im falling in love :p

Quick verbal update.

Dropped the car to my uncles garage before i went to india 3 weeks ago so he could get started on the Twin Turbo conversion.
Reckons it will take 2 months so hopefully not long left to go.

Not just the kit is being fitted though, EVERYTHING is getting refurbed including the gearbox as i have decided i am going to keep this car for a good few years to come.
The gearbox will stay as the 4-speed one as i have been informed that it is stronger than the 5-speed one and if i decide to put on bigger turbos it will be a lot better.

Block is getting ripped apart and lower compression pistons are being put in, port polishing and gas flowing etc. Even the bushes are getting changed, almost everything.

Am hopefully going to get a chance to see him today and have a more in depth chat, and hopefully some pictures of whats going on at the moment.

Also, forgot to add, have found the garage to do the bodywork to enable the bigger wheels to fit and a proper windows out and allsorts respray too.

Whilst in India i got some arches made for my Merc, in Mumbai there was a road full of sheet metal workers and luckily enough for me, one had a W124 saloon just sitting outside it so made it a lot easier for the worker and gave me a proper visual so i can see exactly how i wanted it.
And the best thing is, it cost PEANUTS and looks great.

Didnt bring them back with me though, my old man is going in a couple weeks and will be bringing them back with him.
Then they just need to be welded on, filled in etc. and helps reduce my bodyshop cost too.
