Take it to a Mercedes specialist to find out what the fault is .

Could be an issue with the battery 🤔

Do you live in Lanzarote or just holidaying?

Vehicle electrician.

Just read your other thread. Ignore MB Newcastle.
For a temporary fix, unplug the siren and wrap the plug in clingfilm or a plastic bag to keep it dry.
You'll still need to have the issue diagnosed and the siren replaced if the internal batteries have corroded.

If you're looking for a temporary solution, lock all three doors from inside, then lock the driver's door (and the boot) with the emergency key blade - it won't activate the alarm.

Remove siren. Place in a bucket of water. Job done.

The car will not care that the siren has been disconnected.

Can't you just press the alarm off button in the car before you exit? Surely that's the easiest.

It's not as if anyone pays attention to car alarms going off anyway, no one assumes they're being burgled, they always assume it's just a random antisocial annoyance, which is.

From memory, you can stop the tilt alarm (for when the car is being towed), or you can stop the volumetric sensors (for when dogs are left in the car), but I don't think that there's a bottom that you can press that will stop the alarm from being activated altogether?

My C Class had the same symptom. It was always late at night. I unplugged it whilst it was alarming and putting it in a bucket of water muffled it rather well until it gave up

I didn't replace the siren and there were no warnings or fault codes displayed

I had this issue with an old Audi A4 ... none of the local auto electricians would look at it. For a while we just didn't lock it which wasn't ideal - in the end I decided it couldn't be the door or tailgate switches (or we would see the interior lights on) and disconnected the switch that detected the bonnet being opened, and that sorted it.

My car is on my drive most of the time.It just sits there .If i dont keep the cars battery fully charged the alarm goes off an hour after i put it on by the fob .

I'm not sure either. I think you can press the tilt button and then the motion button and they're both off? But I've never been certain. I did my own thread asking about that but no one seemed to know:

You can, and they are. you have to do it quite soon after switching off the engine, and the red lights in the switches flash briefly to let you know it's done. I do this every time I leave my dog in the car.

The random going off during the night is usually the alarm sounder internal battery playing up. You can either remove the unit and throw it away, or if you feel you need an alarm, fit a new unit.

As above, remove the siren or unplug. I removed the fuse on mine, different car same symptoms

Disconnected the siren on my son in laws C class, car doesn't mind. I have had gusts of wind disturb the air inside the car and set off the alarm on a different make before now.
