My CLK320

Great transformation, sealing or actually lacquering the lights will keep them good for longer (not tested myself as I haven't had the issue)

Awesome work, The Car is looking really fresher now :) Nice to see a CLK getting well deserved treatment cracking looking model.

I'm finding it very interesting because as you know I'm looking for the same model.
Is this the second time you have done the headlights since buying the car?

Hey,

I only did them again as they had a few scratches on them..

They weren't going cloudy as such :)

The Quixx kit comes with a kind of sealer/coating you apply every 3 months and it's meant to stop it clouding up again.

Time will tell :)

Cheers

Thanks for all the positive feedback guys I will keep updating this thread as the car improves :)

Cars looking lovely mate. You've done the right mods to it. Keeping it oem and making it the cleanest you can.

Great work, a good looking CLK that- a big difference to when you first purchased:thumb:

Very nice, the facelift interior, still with the trusty old powertrain!

Have you thought of retrofitting a set of facelift taillights, or perhaps those LED ones that look OEM?

Facelift rear lights / facelift front grill to be done this summer :)

Also on the hunt for error free W5W Sidelights and 239 Number plate lights!

Cheers

Nice! If you don't mind the shipping costs, AZN Optics from USA are great LEDs.

Cheers Abb, means a lot buddy

How did your nephew get on with the pioneer btw?

Suprised you had to do the headlights twice and the rust!! Didn't know 209's rusted like the 208's.

Nice car either way.

LED's.....

For sidelights, I've had these in for some time now, no issues at all
501 Ring Premium LED 12V W5W Canbus Wedge Bulbs (Pair)

I'm really struggling with the number plate lights, none of the ones I've tried worked properly, they either trigger the bulb warning system or don't work.

I was thinking of going for the resistor option, as it is very simple to fit, but I'm worried about these getting too hot next to the carpet lining of the boot lid.

LED Resistor kit (pair) cabus osram

Their service is really good, think there must be a PayPal payment option on the website. Only the number plate lights to find now.

Yeh

It's annoying as my cousin got a set from Halfords which worked a treat in his CLK

I tried going to Halfords but couldn't get a working set.. perhaps they have changed the supplier?:(
