My Comand keeps letting out a beep

Over the past week my Comand DVD system in the E Class lets out a little single beep about a minute after starting the car. (Well the beep comes from the area of the comand unit).

I can not see any other warning messages or malfunctions and everything seems to be working fine.

Any body know what this is telling me?

I don't have experience about this Comand but I remember an earlier similar post where the beep was either from a received (but not read) SMS or a missed call. Not sure if this one was a single beep or more. You might want to search for the post.

No its not the text message or missed call issue. Thats what I thought it might be.

I will try not putting the telephone in and see if it still does it.
