Hi.

I paid £34,500 from Caterham in 2005.

Thats not bad, given the leather, COMAND, memory seats, 6CD on the car. IIRC I didn't notice Parktronic. Anyway, its gone to a new home.

What was it sold for, IIRC you were looking for over £20k for the car, if you got that, good on you, but that would have got your buyer a facelifted CDi. I personally would feel a tad guilty about really overcharging for a car, especially in a private sale, but the car is worth whatever someone pays/is willing to pay.

OMG. I forgot about this. I never got anything through the post.. so nothing happened. lucky.. but i was honest with them about what happened about the murder etc.. so maybe this forum or some one is looking over me.. dunno

You are very lucky, I thought the sale of the car might have been due to a ban, which you were lucky to avoid given the law (personally I don't see it as dangerous per se). Glad you got away, but drive whatever you replace your E350 with a tad more gently.

I advertised it this time for £16,500 and i sold it for £16,300 - and that included him paying for the new tax due on 1st October

I was offered £11k part exchange from 2 dealers.. so im very happy with this sale..

I mean this in the best possible way- I am amazed that someone paid that! Don't get me wrong, it looked a well kept example, but £16,300 for a 5 year old E350 petrol is just astonishing!
Good luck to you though, if someone was willing to pay that much
