I'm taking my 507 to the pistonheads rolling road day at the end of December - see what it puts out - will be interesting.

The 507 is basically the PP car with a slightly different map -thats it really.

I've read that majority of the time 63's are pumping out slightly more power than stated, how true this is I've no idea

yes, that's true - the 507 might be close to the top output though but as I say, will be interesting to see.

What I would change, on my particular 507 – the sound!! Absolutely no where close to the last C63! Even the bride commented on how ‘Much’ quieter the 507 is......

Not sure if changing the exhaust would bother the warranty but, it sounds expensive......

Aren't the 63's supposed to get louder as the miles clock up?

I'd like my 55k to sound like a 63 under hard acceleration. Inside the car, it sounds a pussy at the moment.

My original C63 was really throaty from the get-go! The lack of db (I think) is letting the car down! Just inquired about a Capristo for the 507 - £1750 + vat. May have to bite the bullet......

I pick mine up on NYE so hopefully it sounds just as I remember don't think I will keep it long enough to warrant any upgrades on it though

I think it varies from car to car. As a fella a few doors down had a C63 coupe and a saloon – they both sounded completely different!!

I take it NYE means December 31st ?? I think they have forecast 6” snow for then!! Lol....

Absolutely! I waited 7 months for my 507 and, I really did think it would be delivered by Santa him self!! Mates joked regarding the December delivery about the 6" of snow!

Only two weeks and counting.....

It will be well worth the wait.....

Ordered mine in June and it arrived end of November but working away means I've had to wait! never mind it's closing fast the day I land I'm going straight to collect

A eurocharged map would get about another 25-30 bhp on a 507 I assume.
Not really sure if the cost to power gain would be worth it on a 507.
However stick some long tube headers on and roughly 550bhp would be easily achieved.
......then there is always the weistec route

I think Mrs Blonde would love it if my car was a little quieter. My coupe is bloody loud.

I dont think it has got louder with the miles I've put on it.

Where have you found the Capristo details? I had seen they were in development for C63 but not seen one line yet.

I contacted Scuderia systems in Surry. Capristo have not quite finalized the system but a company named iPE innotech have. It’s more or less the same as the Capristo system and around the same price. The system is fully remote controlled, so you have the best of both worlds. You also have a choice of three exhaust tips!

Seriously thinking about investing in a different exhaust system early in the New Year.
