My new 507 C63 AMG

I'm taking my 507 to the pistonheads rolling road day at the end of December - see what it puts out - will be interesting.

The 507 is basically the PP car with a slightly different map -thats it really.

Went to Surrey Rolling Road with pistonheads this morning - 507.2 bhp from my 507 - does what it says on the tin…

That's mint! Lol

I read that the HP increases the more miles you do. Some owners have seen 535 BHP.

Thanks for the report........:thumb:

535 stock is impossible, link to info ?

Different dynos give different figures its easy to "frig" the dyno so it looks like it has more power
I would be surprised to see 535 on a untuned C63....if it was eurocharged then thats a different story.

Lee,

Mine was on the same dyno as yours.

But it was not an M156 engine

Agreed but the point was more the stock quoted figures are not always what the car produces. Do you think its unrealistic am M156 could leave the factory with just over 5% more than quoted power?

I also agree with Lee that dyno's can be out. But my comparative was on the same dyno as Lees pre his supercharger.

Yes I doubt any 507 will be leaving with 5% more than quoted power.

Last month I dynoed mine and it ran 480 then a few tweeks on the ratchet straps and it pulled 504. I was shocked as it pulled 536 on the mb day.
I agree some engines will pull more but I think it all depends on the dyno and the operator on the day for what figures you will get.

Mine was done at Surrey Rolling Road, which is really well respected and has no tuner affiliations, pure dyno outfit thats it. There was a guy there with a C63 PP car and it made 489bhp (at flywheel).

Here is my graph - just FYI, my car is obviously standard so I'm fine with it - torque was a little low - first run 430 lb/ft, the run in the graph about 425 - be interesting to see if the 507 ecu map did that or just one of those things on the dyno - % wise its close to stock.

The car was put into Dyno Mode before the run (by me).

Still thats not too far off list - a bit pricy me thinks ??
