i picked up the correct rad 2day and a replacement throttle body rubber which was sold with the rest of the throttle body so now have a spare iwill be fitting 2morrow and then i sapose garage cleaned out and then start the sanding gown and respray lol any chance of a code for jasper blue???? lol

i today sprayed the rocker cover and airbox in heatproof black didnt sand right back to mettle just removed flaking paint and light sand to bond to put back together and now the engine bay looks alot better now to descide wether or ot to spray in jasper blue? or keep in midnight dark blue????? any sajestions???

That's interesting, I've just bought a 230E saloon, although my front windows are electric, as is my sunroof, I havce two less buttons on the dash. What are the ones between the hazard warning lamp switch and the heated rear screen for?

they are the rear whiper and jets and the front light whipers i think lol and i only baught his as i have a 230e 8v saloon myself and wanted a kids car instead of picking sweets out of my sportline cloth lol w124's are beautiful things and even with issues they are 90%+ relyable

any pics or stats about yours???

just ordered black leather seats for her so things are coming along nicely have decided to keep in midnight blue to keep the costs down and the wheels will be in grafite grey got 1 in primere now just got to pick up paint

my new seats have arived n they look gooooooooooooddddd lol will clean them up and take some pics soon lol but body work has to be done first dont want to risk getting them covered in overspray lol

i have just taken the front wing off ready to start sanding and filling and spraying mercedes do not want you taking those things off mind lol

did a quick refurb om 1 wheel so fare

all fillered and pre primed and sandid ready for primer and top coat

as the wing was off i decidid to underseal useing tarnoc thick paint on underseal topstuff more pics comming soon

Do you mind if I ask what type of paint you have used on your wheels.

I have a set of 8 hole alloys awaiting refurbishment and this is the type of finish I am looking for. I believe laser cutting/etching is the correct terminology?

just some standard griffite gray from my local shop ( AK AUTO'S ) tobe honest i did the first coat in ford graffite gray which had a slight blue tint to it which was nice and sent the miss's down to get more she brought back the standard stuff
and no laser cuting or anything just me some grinding drill atachments and plenty of sandpapper there not perfect by anymeans but thanks lol

right i have done 2day the bonnet and grill and put the rear seats in! 2mo i will be putting the front seats in and a general tydy up and clean and also possably spray the whiper arm in graffite gray will take pics 2mo so you can see my progress
so happy things are finaly getting done lol
