After having a few electrical problems with my beloved W202 C-Class I thought it was time for a change.

I picked this up last Wednesday but did not have time to give it a good clean last weekend due to the weather, however today I did and I took a few pics.

Its a 1993 220CE, the only options are the sunroof and metallic paint, 3 owners from new and it had done just under 67k when I picked it up.
Its got full MB service history and every MOT from new.

It was up at £2400

I wouldnt mind getting a set of the 8-hole alloy wheels for it and maybe a new set of speakers, it came with a set of matts but they were filthy so i'm thinking ordering a new set for it, they are C-Class items in it at the moment.

On a side note, in the passenger side door pad near the bottom there is a perspex square window, what is this for?

TIA

The perspex square window is where the service book is meant to live , they thought of everything on the w124's

Nice car !

Thanks alot howard, i've been puzzeled by it each time I look at it.

That leather interior went for £410, £10 more than what I bid! Shame really with it having the beige carpets, but alas

I'd keep my eyes open for a leather interior though , as you say , either beige or go black ....

Technically its an E220 COUPE having the facelift bonnet and lights. Must have been one of the first or it is a 220 CE with a new front. I am surprised it doesn't have alloy wheels. It looks a nice car.

Thanks for the heads up!

I did look on the russian decoder and alloys wernt listed, I am really happy with it though, the ride is grea for commuting.

It has suffered the the ingress in the rear window to stop the demister working, which is a shame

Nice car, always liked the W124, they seem so solid and styling is so elegant.
