Not sure what they put in but we ran a test on my 55 and it was running rough with misfires on random coils logged in STAR. We then did the same with a tank of V Power and the misfires were gone and the engine ran smoothly. That’s just my experience.

Best to stick to V Power and avoid Tesco 99 as it causes misfires in the ignition coils. One Indy told me Tesco put “a lot of rubbish” in their fuel and it is not good for AMGs.

What rubbish....Google is your friend....due to logistical reasons most fuel whether is supermarket or premium brand is taken from the same tanks at the refinery...only when it's in the tanker does the V power ( or what ever brand it is) additive pack get put in at almost homeopathic levels. Only the octane varies (95 or premium 97 to 99 plus) and the ethanol content ( 5 or 10 percent...with Esso Supreme being E0). Online there are many tests comparing big brands with supermarket....99 present claim there is no measurable difference in performance of fuel system cleanliness in any of them, big brands or super market.
