Had a lexus Ls400 which spent all its life in Cornwall seaside , subframe was solid so was the rest of the car , in fact that car will outlast me

Haha. Yes, MB doesn't make them properly any more. My son-in-law asked if he could borrow the Yaris. Yes. 5 minutes later he came back saying it won't start. I explained that it's a Toyota so it will start. I added that with a Mercedes you can't be sure but Toyotas start.

I came out, put my foot on the clutch (he hadn't) and off it went.
